Bonita Springs-based specialty low voltage integration firm announces expansion plans of its corporate headquarters.
BONITA SPRINGS, FL September 14, 2007 In an effort to better serve the ever-growing clientele that is being generated from the automation craze that is spreading like wildfire throughout the country, Accent Electronic Systems Integrators, a Bonita Springs-based specialty low voltage integration firm to builders, developers, architects and interior designers, announced expansion plans today of its Bonita Springs corporate headquarters.
Accent ESI plans to double in size by adding another 2,720 SF to its already existing 2,720 SF facility and another 5-10 employees to its current employee base of 15, to accommodate for the rise in popularity and subsequent growth of the space-aged “Jetson’s” type technology.
Automation is the ability to control electronic systems such as a thermostat, security system, interior and exterior lighting, irrigation systems, and audio and video distribution just to name a few, either automatically or remotely with a touch of a button. It is quickly becoming the “must-have technology” of choice among tech-savvy home and business owners alike and as result, this technology will continue to evolve exponentially over time as popularity increases. “Because technology changes so fast, we make an avid point to stay ahead of trends such as home automation rather than trailing behind them” explained Curt Rothenberg, Vice President and Founder of Accent ESI. Rothenberg went on to say, “Subsequently, the stagnant construction market has precipitated builders to welcome the home automation trend with open arms and incorporate it into their homes all in an effort to distinguish themselves from their competitors and I firmly believe that as more builders learn to embrace home technology, this trend will continue to rise not only in south Florida, but across America as well.”
This announcement comes one year after Daniel Robbins acquired the majority stock of the company of one the founders who moved on from the company. Robbins’ initial vision was to expand into integrated facilities systems within the residential and commercial markets by further expanding the product line and geographical reach of the company in an effort to turn Accent ESI into a statewide reseller of residential and commercial electronic systems. “Although the housing market continues to stumble, we have held our own and increased revenues two fold year to date over 2006, and it is essential to continue expansion and growth plans regardless of what’s happening on the street if you want to be positioned properly for grabbing market share when construction markets improve” said Robbins, President of Accent ESI.
